GREELEY, CO (December 24, 2021) – For three generations the Yoder family of Northern Colorado has not only been helping people buy, finance, and maintain their cars, they have also been taking care of the community. But the Yoder’s support doesn’t end with their customers, friends, families, and neighbors; it extends to their employees as well.
The Yoder Family Cares Team, established in 2018, is described as an “in-house charity” designed to provide assistance and support to employees in unexpected times of need or tragedy.
The initiative fosters Yoder’s culture in a way that enhances its core values while honoring God, and its mission is to provide specific programs for the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs of its employees, their families, and the community. The team is made up of employees from various departments. Individuals can reach out privately for assistance. The goal of the Family Cares Team is to strengthen teamwork and promote inclusiveness.
“Being able to support employees in ways that reduce the outside stresses of life and that can weigh heavily on our employees is a powerful thing,” said Ryan Green, marketing director for the Yoder Family of Companies. “Across all nine of our companies, we are a family here at Yoder. When a family member needs help, we are here to support them in whatever way we can.”
“You can accomplish a lot when you are truly there for each other,” he added. “When we take care of our employees, we are better able to take care of our customers and our community that much more effectively.”
